Used grader for sportsfields

Mara Laser is a business company that for 30 years and more has been examining, producing and marketing laser and GPS controlled laser levellers, turning towards buyers in about 30 nations all over the world.
Thanks to GPS and laser control technologies, we can get to significant results in different sectors of utility: from agricultural soil to sportsground, from building constructions to road excavations, from landscaping to ground scraping.
Mara’s levellers ensure a series of returns and high capacity in various situations: from the machine operating velocity, to a total affidability and assurance of the result.

Mara’s technology

The technology used by Mara is what makes it unbeatable, and the results acquired all over the world witness this. Laser and GPS system technologies provide an unrivaled performance, mostly when they are used together.

Laser technology

Laser technology is applied to the levellers in a way that continually synchronize the height of the blade.
The leveller, the laser beam transmitter and the laser beam receiver are parts of the laser control system for levelling.
The transmitter is put on a tripod that sees the natural gradient of the land and communicates the signal to the receiver, which is instead mounted on the machine itself.
The laser beam, for its own characteristics, permits very high preciseness even over long land portions. After picking up the signal, a technologically perfectioned rotating pentaprism, mounted on these machines, returns an ideal planning for the leveller to follow while operating.
The receiver also has an important role, because it correctly reads the laser light received from the transmitter, through special photodiodes. The receivers, made by Mara Laser, guarantee the levellers will be able to work on any type fo ground and receive the 360° signal, even though it could be low or it goes through interference.
On the leveller, besides, there is a control system to remove external interference. It decreases wind sound, automatically captures the signal and sets the power of the tractor.

GPS system technology

GPS technology, after all, is used to set the position of the leveller and the height of the blade.
The levellers, that adopt this technology, get the laser signal from the satellites: even in this situation the planning is illustrated by the signal and reproduced on the land.
Lately, thanks to technological progress and the use of dedicated software, an accuracy of ± 10 mm has been obtained, even though this technology offers poorer accuracy than laser technology: GPS systems are subject to fluctuations for the periodic change of constellation of the satellites.
In any case, the poorer preciseness is compensated by the wide adaptability of use, mostly when this technology is used to work on large land portions with various inclinations, such as agricultural soil and building constructions.

Integrated laser + GPS system

Mara Laser has produced and made an integrated system that adds the precision of laser technology with the potential of GPS, the right one for tough land.
The higher preciseness of the laser signal represents the plan within a radius of 1300 meters, while the GPS system communicates the place of the leveller. Thus, the Mara system can set the height of the tractor leveller and the place of the blade itself.
The creation of the 3D map of the land permits to highlight the land portions that has to be scraped, the loading areas, the point where to start, and the best route that enables to do the greatest job possible, with both the tractor and the leveller in the right position.
Thus, the operator will have immediate instructions through the constant updating of the data by the system.

Fields of application

The significant preciseness and adaptability of the levellers made by Mara Laser ensure their use in various fields:

  • Laser levelling machines for agriculture:
Mara’s laser levellers, among the different conveniences ensure a key increase of the arable land portions. They permits a reduction in the amount of water used, an increased production, a considerable reduction of chemicals used, as well as seeds. The lowering in work hours, besides, makes the use of these machines a sure investment.
  • Laser levelling machines for construction:
Mara Laser gives an absolute perfect precision to obtain ground floors with very reduced deflections (max 4 mm) and to remove cavities and gaps that would, afterwords, be filled with concrete. The lowering of work hours and the possibility of obtaining an absolute perfect slope for water to flow down, are other conveniences that make these machines worthy and incomparable in this fields.
  • Laser levelling machines for earth-moving:
the fine performance of the Mara levellers permits to move large quantity of soil very quickly and with low power. In this way, shorter work hours, lower costs and greater preciseness in creating the horizontal plan and gradient, are reached.
  • Laser levelling machine for sportsground:
this type of technology can be used very well in this field as it enables to level even existing sectors, repairing soil depressions without replacing the lawn.
  • Laser levelling machines for greenhouses:
thanks to the preciseness, reduced size and easy handling of Mara laser levellers, it is also doable to work for the maintenance of green spaces. In this way, the right gradient and also a fabulous aesthetic result are assured.
  • Laser grader machines for roads:
in this field, important results are reached thanks to the capability of the Mara’s laser graders to provide the same job as the motor grader, with poorer costs and more convenient times. In addition, there are key conveniences, for example specialized labor is no longer necessary, on top to the fact that the use of fine materials is reduced.
